This event is to help build and bridge successful alliances between bloggers and brands marketing to women and families. A power-packed full of Chicago’s (and beyond) most influential bloggers and marketers who are serious in making professional and successful relationships with each other.

This event is designed for active and seasoned bloggers and serious marketers looking to build partnership with one another.

FAQs

If I blog for my company, can I register as a blogger?

No, company bloggers must register as marketers.

If I have my own personal blog but work as a marketer in my professional life, can I register as a blogger?

Yes, but there are a couple of important things to know. Bottom line is that you are not attending the event to network as a marketer, but a blogger. This event is capping at 150 attendees and we're serious about making sure that we are only allowing certain people to join the event.

1. you cannot represent your company (their products & services) in the event 
2. your personal blog must not contain any info on anything related to the company, and this also applies on product and service reviews you've done for your company.

Are sponsored bloggers allowed to attend?

No. Any company who wants to market in the event must register as a Marketer or purchase an event / table sponsorship.

Are there any sponsorships available for bloggers?

Yes, City Connect Media / Chicagonista would love to sponsor seasoned bloggers who qualify on the following below. 

• Blogger must be actively (more than 4 posts a month)blogging for a year or more on the same url.
• Blogger has posted a review on products or services within the last 6 months.
• Blogger must post a linked graphic image of the Brands & Bloggers Summit from now until July 2011. Must be placed in the sidebar. (see image and code below)

***First come, first served. Spots are limited. Fill up the Blogger Sponsorship Application. The Sponsorship applications must be submitted by January 15th or until we approve 50 bloggers (whichever comes first) to receive full ticket to the summit conference. Hotel lodging and travel expenses are not included.
